I purchased a Sony STRDN1050 receiver on 12/21/14 for my son for Christmas using Sony Rewards points. It arrived promptly. It malfunctioned within 2 weeks. Sony may have good products, but beware they have the worst support process when something breaks! If I were you I would steer clear and find a company with better support. My new Xperia Z3 didn't even complete 2 weeks with me, last week I tired to check if it is waterproof, I made sure all holes were tightly closed and locked, I put it in a less than 5 cm depth of water bucket, it didn't even last for more than 3 minutes, the screen went full black.. I sent my $600 Sony Xperia Z2 in for repairs because the microphone did not work. Its a known problem and is covered under the warranty. $600 phone and no one could hear me - frustrating.
