Called Sony to come out and fix my 55" LCD HDTV - KDS55A2000. I asked about the extended warranty on the optical block. They said there was not one. I said their web site said there was. They said yes that was correct after looking it up and they would send out a repair man on Tuesday Jan 13th, 2009. They did not show up, said we had canceled the appointment. I told then we did not and had waited a full day for them to come as promised.They said they would send out another repair person form another Sony certified repair company. We will wait and see. I will never by a Sony Product again.
