As a loyal Sony customer, I will never buy another Sony product.Our 2yr old 50" $1000 TV failed to turn on.

I got nothing in the way of help from Sony customer care....simply referred to e-service. We do not have a repair service in the area. I replaced the TV with a Samsung.

Sony is not the quality manufacture it once was. The phone response was short and rude.

I had read reviews on the 50ex645. It received good reviews when it was first released, but since then many reports of the similar problem I had. TV would not turn on and the red led light blinked 6 times over and over.

Sony offered nothing to diagnose this problem.Be ware of this model and avoid it all cost.
